Community Commitment

About Us

We provide specialized rehabilitative services to our patients in the communities we serve. We often see patients who are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

Community Commitment

At Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, we are committed to being good neighbors and responsible corporate citizens to the communities we serve. We do this through not only the healthcare services we provide, but through our dedication to philanthropic support throughout the area. Locally, we are involved with the Salvation Army and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Locally, we are involved with:

• The Breast Cancer Walk and
• The American Heart Walk
• Chamber of Commerce
• The Rotary
• The “Its Your Life Foundation”
• The American Cancer Society
• The American Heart Association
• The Gulf Coast Humane Society
• Junior League of Corpus Christi

We also offer free stroke awareness programs, healthy living presentations to assisted living communities, and support The Children’s Advocacy Center of the Coastal Bend.

Support Groups

To help expand our treatment, we offer support groups for patients and caregivers. These groups allow our patients to share experiences with others with common challenges, explore resources, encourage one another, and learn how to best navigate their circumstances.

Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital offers a Stroke Support Group, providing resources and assistance to stroke survivors, their family members, and caregivers.
