Meet Our Leaders
Michelle Russell, Chief Executive Officer
Michelle has been passionate about rehabilitative care since the beginning of her career more than 20 years ago because rehabilitation restores people’s independence so they can go home to loved ones. When a patient is discharged and is able to walk out the front door it cheers your soul.
Michelle earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Marshall University in Huntingdon, W.V., and a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Indianapolis. She serves as a board member for various community organizations, including the Salvation Army and the North Central Indiana Area Health Education Center Advisory Board.
Michelle enjoys boating, reading, watching sports and she loves animals. She resides in Indianapolis with her husband and their Springer Spaniel, Ellie.
Bob Barrett, Director of Therapy Operations
Bob brings more than 35 years of experience to leading our inpatient and outpatient therapy services. He has helped patients in a wide variety of settings including: acute hospitals, long term care facilities, outpatient centers, occupational health rehab centers, acute rehab hospitals and home health care.
His passion for the delivery of excellent therapy services stems from an event that brought him to the receiving side of healthcare. At the age of 28, his wife had a cerebrovascular accident, which required months of rehabilitation, but resulted in the ability to go on and raise three sons and live a full life. This success drives him to ensure others have the best opportunity to live a full life.
Bob earned a bachelor’s degree physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin Madison, Wis., and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Ill.
Bob enjoys walking and hiking for fitness and when possible cross-country skiing. He resides in Fishers, Ind. with his family.
Rebecca Hubbard, Director of Nursing
Rebecca is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience. She brings a wealth of experience including Acute Care, ICU, Neuroscience, Transitional Care and Regional consulting. She has a passion for providing high quality patient care with exceptional patient outcomes while growing a team environment with the staff.
Rebecca earned her nursing degree from DACC. She has been a member of the IHCA since 2012 and Regulatory/Clinical Committee as a member.
Rebecca enjoys reading, golfing, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She resides in Lafayette with her husband.
Brad Christopher, Director of Pharmacy Operations
Brad enjoys assisting patients with their medication needs in their healing process. He has been a been a Pharmacist for 33 years and a director of pharmacy in another rehab facility for ten years.
Brad is a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana with his pharmacy degree.
Brad lives in Kokomo, Indiana with his wife of 23 years and has 3 daughters. Brad enjoys golfing, fishing, and anything that has to do with being outdoors.
Jamie Gill, Director of Plant Operations
Jamie is meticulous in the overall management of the environment of care, including the cleanliness and maintenance of the hospital. With more than 28 years of maintenance experience – the last 10 being in healthcare facilities, Jamie pays attention to details that make our patients’ stays more enjoyable.
Jamie earned an associate’s degree in facilities maintenance from Ivy Tech, Lafayette, Ind. Jamie enjoys fishing, motorcycle touring, and resides in nearby Brookston, Ind.
Stephanie Nagel, Director of Compliance
Stephanie went into nursing to help people improve their quality of lives and to make a difference. And more than 40 years later, she still does just that.
In her current role, Stephanie is responsible for the hospital’s regulatory compliance, risk management, quality and performance improvement. She earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Indiana University in Gary, Ind. She is a PICC certified nurse and participates with local blood drives.
Stephanie likes bicycling, gardening, landscaping and doing “home rehab.” She also has six grandchildren that she enjoys spending time with.
Jeanie Snyder, Director of Marketing & Business Development
In her role at the hospital, Jeanie is responsible for marketing efforts and referral development. With more than 25 years of healthcare experience, Jeanie is well-suited for this task.
Jeanie is a registered nurse who earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana University in Kokomo, Ind. She is a tuberculosis instructor and CPR instructor.
Jeanie enjoys watching softball, vacationing at the beach and taking care of patients when she works some nursing shifts. She enjoys educating family members on how to care for their loved ones before they go home. She resides in Russiaville, Ind., with her husband and family.
